ALIEN NATION
Our ultimate commission as Christians is to be ambassadors on earth knowing full well that our true home is with God in Heaven and we are merely on earth for a defined time.
We are cautioned that there are many things in the world that are dishonorable and that wage war against how God has called us to live as sons of His Kingdom. While on earth, the Word of God is our guide on how we should live, relate with people, work, create impact, and more.
Revelation 1:8 (NIV)
[8] “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”Revelation 1:8 (MSG)
[8] The Master declares, “I’m A to Z. I’m The God Who Is, The God Who Was, and The God About to Arrive. I’m the Sovereign-Strong.”Revelation 21:6-8 (MSG)
Then he said, “It’s happened. I’m A to Z. I’m the Beginning, I’m the Conclusion. From Water-of-Life Well I give freely to the thirsty. Conquerors inherit all this. I’ll be God to them, they’ll be sons and daughters to me. But for the rest — the feckless and faithless, degenerates and murderers, sex peddlers and sorcerers, idolaters and all liars — for them it’s Lake Fire and Brimstone. Second death!”
God is the Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. As I was reading through these verses, my Spirit was encouraged by the fact that nothing is a surprise to God. His existence is not confined by time but it is outside time.
He is the author of life and to understand LIFE you have to know Him.
To be a VICTOR you need to drink from Him.
Embrace Him today!
The ALIEN NATION is a community whose identity is in Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King. The inspiration for the name is drawn from 1 Peter 2:11 (AMP) which states: “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges [those dishonorable desires] that wage war against the soul.”
We are in the world but not of the world. The translation into this heavenly family only occurs when you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your savior. Introducing the official logo for ALIEN NATION. I’ve been brooding over this vision for a couple of years and it’s amazing to see it come alive at a time such as this.
I received the logo design inspiration as I watched one of Alex Wilson’s teachings on @amenpodcast. I am grateful I found such an authentic resource of God’s word. At the time I was really struggling to read the Word of God and needed an alternative way to consume His Word. Maybe when I meet Alex one day I will share the whole story of what in particular inspired the logo😊. In another of his podcasts, he says:
“As a person who trusts in the word of God, hopes in the word of God, and values what God values, you live in a world that doesn’t value those things. We live in a world that is indifferent to the values that you hold true and love. That is why we are treated as strangers and aliens in the world because it is not our home.”
This is our reality but ain’t it better to be on the winning side? Join me on this journey of creativity, music, and love. I pray that this movement will encourage you, inspire you, and strengthen you in your Christian walk.
